Meet The Team

I’m Anthony, although most clients know me as Tony. I began my accountancy career straight from school, gaining my professional qualifications while working in practice. After spending 20 years with the same firm, I established Anthony Wych & Co in 2008.

Since then, the practice has grown from one member of staff into an experienced team, while retaining the personal approach that has always been central to the business.

As principal, I remain the main point of contact for clients, advising on their taxation and business needs. I enjoy building lasting relationships and getting to know the people behind each business, so that my advice reflects their circumstances and ambitions.

My approach is straightforward: to explain things clearly, provide practical advice and help clients make informed decisions. Whether answering day-to-day questions or planning for the future, I aim to be someone clients feel comfortable turning to.

I have worked in accountancy for more than 25 years and joined Anthony Wych & Co in 2009. My role focuses on preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships, alongside occasional VAT and bookkeeping work.

I work with clients’ financial records to bring together a clear picture of their business performance and prepare their year-end accounts. This includes reviewing the information provided, identifying any gaps and helping resolve queries during the preparation process.

I aim to make the accounts process straightforward for clients, with careful attention to detail and clear explanations. Having worked with a range of businesses over the years, I appreciate that each client has different needs and ways of keeping their records.

I bring 30 years of administrative experience to my role as Office Administrator at Anthony Wych & Co. Before taking up my current role in 2016, I spent 20 years working as a Personal Assistant within Manchester’s legal sector.

I manage the day-to-day running of the office and help keep our client work organised. My responsibilities include Companies House filings and company administration, covering new company formations, share transfer documentation and annual confirmation statements. I also oversee the identity verification process for directors and people with significant control (PSCs).

I aim to make dealing with the practice as straightforward as possible, helping clients understand what information is needed and keeping administrative matters moving smoothly.

Outside work, I enjoy walking, travelling and exploring new places.

I bring more than a decade of financial and payroll experience to my role as Payroll Manager at Anthony Wych & Co. My background in financial administration includes accounts management, bank reconciliations, credit control, maintenance contract administration and technical client support.

Today, I manage payroll for approximately 170 clients, covering regular payroll calculations, pension administration, Real Time Information (RTI) submissions to HMRC and year-end reporting. I also handle Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) submissions.

I focus on accuracy, meeting deadlines and helping clients understand their payroll responsibilities. Whether dealing with a routine payroll run or a change in an employee’s circumstances, I aim to provide clear, practical support and keep the process running smoothly.

Outside work, I’m a busy mum of two boys. I enjoy cooking, long walks with our husky and catching up with friends.

I bring more than 25 years of bookkeeping experience to my role at Anthony Wych & Co. I look after clients’ day-to-day bookkeeping, helping to keep their financial records accurate, organised and up to date.

I also support clients with Sage and AutoEntry, answering questions and helping resolve any issues they encounter. I enjoy making the bookkeeping process easier to manage and helping clients feel comfortable using their software.

My approach is practical and straightforward, with careful attention to detail and clear explanations. I aim to keep things running smoothly so clients can spend more time focusing on their businesses.

Outside work, I enjoy walking, going out at weekends and, most importantly, spending time with my family.
